2014 European 2.4mR Measurement Symposium/Training Seminar

Description:

The international 2.4mR Class is happy to announce the European Measurement Symposium and Training Seminar. This event will take place over 2 days and is intended for existing measurers and train new measurers in the 2.4mR and the Norlin OD Classes.

Goals:

  1. To ensure measurement of 2.4mR and Norlin OD boats follows proper and consistent methods and procedures.
  2. To train new measurers from different countries on the specifics of measuring 2.4mR and Norlin OD boats.
  3. To provide an opportunity for measurement personal to learn from the top measures in the class.
  4. To facilitate the photographic and video taping of measurement procedures to be used in training and measuring environments.

Enkhuizen Netherlands
The town of Enkhuizen is approximately 1 hour by train from Amsterdam airport (Schiphol)

Hotels:

The measurement course will take place harbour location that has two hotels within 200m.

Who may participate?

Anyone who is already a measurer for 2.4mR boats or anyone who is committed to becoming a 2.4mR measurer in their country.

Note: The primary common language for this course will be English

Cost

The is no entry fee for participants to attend course but all those attending are responsible for paying their own costs for travel, meals accommodation etc.
